Lawndale Christian Health Center

We are in the process of redesigning and rehabilitating the sprawling campus of Lawndale Christian Health Center. This is the first season of adding more plants, editing and rehabilitating existing areas, redesigning other gardens. Stay tuned as the progress continues. This is a three to five year project.

Legacy Charter School

We are in the second season of a three year project with Legacy Charter Schools’ Bioswale. This charter school is located on the West Side of Chicago in the North Lawndale neighborhood. When we first started it was overgrown with natives that did not play well together. There was a lack of color and the original design was lost. Looking forward to the third season in 2026.

Christy Webber Landscapes – West Side of Chicago

This amazing landscape company is so busy taking care of everyone else’s yards that they asked for assistance with their headquarters! The gardens outside are all created using the permaculture edible landscapes using forest garden design. Forest Gardens in the temperate climate in Chicago have 8 layers – Overstory trees, Understory trees, Shrubs, Vines, Groundcovers, Root crops, Grasses, Perennials. The design strived to have everything edible by humans or for other creatures and pollinators.
